Search for deep cleaning prices in the UAE and you will see two very different numbers: an hourly rate that looks cheap, and a fixed price per home that looks higher. They are not measuring the same thing. A deep clean of a two to three bedroom flat typically takes 5 to 7 hours with a standard team, and the condition of the oven or shower glass can push that up. This guide compares deep cleaning price per hour with a fixed price, shows typical fixed prices from our calculator, and explains when an hourly booking still makes sense. The full scope of a team reset is on our deep home cleaning service page.
In short, a fixed price is usually the better choice for a true deep clean, because you know the total before the team arrives and a job that runs long does not cost you more. Hourly booking suits lighter upkeep, a few chosen tasks or a home that is already in good shape.
Deep cleaning price per hour vs fixed price at a glance
| Question | Priced per hour | Fixed price per visit |
|---|---|---|
| How the price is set | Rate x hours on site | By home size, condition and extras, agreed before the visit |
| If the job takes longer | You pay for the extra time | The agreed price stays the same |
| What gets done | Whatever fits in the hours you booked | A full checklist for the whole home |
| Comparing quotes | Hard: you need the rate and a realistic hour count | Easy: compare totals and inclusions |
| Best for | Upkeep, touch ups, a few chosen tasks | Deep cleans, move in and move out, first cleans |

Why hourly deep cleaning prices are hard to compare
An hourly rate tells you the price of one hour, not the price of the job. Two companies can both quote by the hour and end up far apart once the hours are added up.
- The hour count is a guess. Heavy grease, limescale and a long gap since the last clean all add time, and you only find out on the day.
- Team size changes the maths. Three cleaners for three hours is nine paid hours, not three.
- Scope shrinks to fit the clock. If time runs out, the inside of cupboards or the AC grilles may be left for “next time”.
- Extras sit on top. Materials, equipment or travel may be charged separately on some hourly quotes.
Humidity is a good example of hidden time. Damp corners and bathroom grout need extra treatment, and the US EPA’s guide to mould and moisture explains why the source has to be dealt with, not just wiped. On an hourly booking that work comes out of your hours.
How we price a deep clean: fixed per visit
We price deep cleans per visit, by home size, and fix the exact price before you book. Equipment is included, and if the team needs longer because the oven is heavily greased, the agreed price stays the same. These typical ranges come from our cleaning price calculator.
| Home | Typical time on site | Sharjah and Ajman | Dubai | Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Studio | 3 to 4 hours | AED 300 to 450 | AED 400 to 550 | AED 600 to 750 |
| 1 bedroom | 4 to 5 hours | AED 400 to 550 | AED 450 to 650 | AED 600 to 800 |
| 2 to 3 bedrooms | 5 to 7 hours | AED 550 to 800 | AED 600 to 900 | AED 650 to 900 |
| Townhouse | 6 to 8 hours | AED 500 to 900 | AED 700 to 1,000 | AED 700 to 1,000 |
| Villa | Full day | AED 700 to 1,500 | AED 900 to 1,800 | AED 800 to 1,600 |
Times are for a standard team; a larger team shortens the visit without changing the price. Our guide to how long a deep clean takes explains where the hours go, and the deep cleaning cost in Dubai guide breaks down the Dubai figures. After builders cleans are quoted by scope after a quick check.
When hourly cleaning is the better choice
Hourly booking is not wrong, it is just built for a different job. We price regular visits by the hour: typically AED 30 to 45 in Sharjah and Ajman, AED 35 to 50 in Dubai and AED 35 to 45 in the northern emirates.
- Your home is already clean and you want weekly or twice weekly upkeep.
- You want a few set tasks, such as bathrooms and floors before guests arrive.
- You are following up a deep clean and want to keep the result going.

How to judge a deep cleaning quote

- Ask for the total, not only the rate. If the quote is hourly, ask how many cleaners and how many hours they expect.
- Get the scope in writing. Inside the oven, inside cupboards, AC grilles, skirting and floor edges should be named. Grilles matter in the UAE, where homes run the AC most of the year and people spend about 90 percent of their time indoors, according to the US EPA. Our guide to what is included in a deep clean lists every inclusion.
- Ask what happens if it runs long. With a fixed price, nothing changes; with an hourly quote, you pay more.
- Check equipment and materials. Are they included, or added?
- Name your extras up front. Inside the fridge, ironing or changing linen can be added at an extra cost, confirmed at booking.
- Know your rights. The UAE consumer protection law gives you the right to obtain services at the declared price, so keep the agreed figure in writing.
Frequently asked questions
How much is deep cleaning per hour?
Some companies quote deep cleaning by the hour, but the final bill then depends on how many cleaners come and how long the job takes. We price deep cleans per visit instead: a 1 bedroom flat is typically AED 400 to 550 in Sharjah and Ajman and AED 450 to 650 in Dubai. Check your home size on our cleaning price calculator for a typical figure.
How much does a 2 hour deep clean cost?
Two hours is rarely enough for a true deep clean; even a studio typically takes 3 to 4 hours with a standard team. Two hours of regular cleaning typically costs AED 60 to 90 in Sharjah and Ajman and AED 70 to 100 in Dubai at our hourly rates. For a full reset, a studio deep clean is typically AED 300 to 450 in Sharjah and AED 400 to 550 in Dubai, fixed before you book.
How much does it cost to hire a cleaner per hour in Dubai?
Regular cleaning in Dubai typically costs AED 35 to 50 per hour on our calculator, and most homes book two to six hours a visit depending on size. Deep cleans are priced per visit rather than per hour. Our cleaning services price per hour guide compares Dubai with Sharjah and Ajman.
How much should you pay a cleaner per hour?
For regular cleaning through ImpressiFix, typical rates are AED 30 to 45 per hour in Sharjah and Ajman, AED 35 to 50 in Dubai and AED 35 to 45 in Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah. Do cleaners get paid before or after cleaning?
It varies by company, so always ask before you book. With ImpressiFix, the exact price is fixed and confirmed before anyone arrives, and nothing extra is charged without your agreement. How and when you pay is set out when you confirm your booking, and the UAE consumer protection law backs your right to the declared price.
