The cleaning services price per hour in Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman applies to regular visits, while deep cleans are usually priced per visit. On our cleaning price calculator, regular cleaning is typically AED 30 to 45 per hour in Sharjah and Ajman and AED 35 to 50 per hour in Dubai, so Dubai sits about 13% higher at the midpoint. This guide compares the hourly rates by emirate, shows how many hours a visit usually takes, explains what pushes a quote up or down, and helps you judge an hourly price before you book.
In practice, the hourly rate is only half the picture. What you actually pay depends on how many hours your home needs, whether the team brings materials, and whether the job is really a regular visit or a deep clean. A 1 bedroom flat usually needs about 3 hours, which works out at around AED 90 to 135 per visit in Sharjah and Ajman and AED 105 to 150 in Dubai at typical hourly rates.

How many hours does a cleaning visit take?
The calculator gives typical hours for a regular visit by home size. Multiply them by the hourly rate to see what a visit usually costs. Homes that are cleaned every week sit at the lower end; a first visit after a long gap takes longer.
| Home size | Typical hours per visit | Sharjah and Ajman, per visit | Dubai, per visit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Studio | 2 to 3 | AED 60 to 135 | AED 70 to 150 |

What changes the hourly price
Two quotes for the same flat can differ for good reasons. These are the factors that move the price most.
- Emirate and travel time: visits further from Sharjah cost more per hour, as the table shows.
- Number of hours: a short visit costs less in total, but a minimum booking per visit usually applies.
- Cleaning materials and equipment: you can choose whether the team brings them or uses yours, and any charge is shown in your quote.
- Condition of the home: the first visit after months without cleaning takes longer than a weekly visit.
- Extras: ironing, changing bed linen or cleaning inside the fridge can be requested at an extra cost, confirmed at booking.
- VAT: the UAE’s standard VAT rate is 5%, as shown on the Federal Tax Authority’s VAT page, so ask whether a quote includes it when you compare prices.

If you prefer your own products, the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Safer Choice programme lists cleaning products that meet its safety criteria, which helps when you have children or pets at home.
Why deep cleans are not priced per hour
A deep clean is quoted per visit, by home size, rather than per hour. The work depends on how much grease, limescale and dust has built up, so a fixed price protects you from a job that runs long. On the calculator, a deep clean of a 1 bedroom flat is typically AED 400 to 550 in Sharjah and Ajman and AED 450 to 650 in Dubai.

How to judge an hourly quote
A very low hourly rate can look attractive, but compare what is behind it before you book.
- Ask how many hours the team expects your home to take, not only the rate.
- Ask what each visit covers. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidance on cleaning and disinfecting advises cleaning high touch surfaces regularly, so check that worktops, handles and switches are on the list.
- Check whether materials, equipment and travel are included.
- Ask whether the price is fixed before the visit, or worked out afterwards.
- Ask how cleaners are vetted. Every cleaner on ImpressiFix is interviewed and reference checked before the first job.
